Shiadu boutique hotels in both Lisbon and Porto did not disappoint. Both are truly excellent in terms of cleanliness, service, and especially breakfast! Casa dos Loios’s location is very central . The hotel is also near the metro and the train station which is another plus. I would definitely book here when I return to Porto.

Located on one of the main pedestrian-only streets, the hotel was in a great location. If you can avoid driving there, it would certainly make things more relaxing. We learned, and made use of the subway/metro from the airport, which brought us to within 100m of the hotel entrance. The hotel was very cute, sitting on a small footprint, but 5 stories tall. Quaint, and relaxing. The included breakfast was very nice too.

We had a wonderful stay for several nights without any issues whatsoever. The hotel is in a prime location within walking distance to hundreds of shops and restaurants, and nearly all the main attractions in Porto, including the Douro and cathedral. It’s also right next to the metro and São Bento station. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodative. Breakfast was fantastic- so many options and wonderful pastries. The room itself was just fine and the view from the balcony was gorgeous, but we came to see the city and not just sit in our room. Additionally, we had a rental car for the first day and there is a parking garage just 10 seconds around the corner. We would definitely come back!

Hotel is in an older building and had lots of charming features and was also updated so that our stay was wonderful. Location was great, staff was friendly and the included breakfast was delicious with lots of food options.

Fantastic little hotel in the heart of Porto. Beautiful historic building! Lots of stairs despite a little elevator servicing some of the rooms - be aware if you depend on an elevator. Very walkable and convenient location, however, 3min away from the train station. The only possible downside is the rooms arent soundproof so if you are looking for a serene and quite room, this might not be it.

Casa dos Loios is delightful. The location is right in the heart of things, easy to find your way around. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a lovely outside sitting area on which to eat. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, with good restaurant recommendations and help interpreting train schedules and directions. Would definitely stay here again should we be so lucky to visit Porto a second time!

We enjoyed our stay in Porto and especially our hotel experience. The room was a little larger than a common European room. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. One of the best advantages was the location. While it's on a fairly touristy street, the street is closed to traffic and was a great thoroughfare to wander. Breakfast was good and so convenient. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Porto.
