Grooms Cottage - Countryside Cottage near one of the top restaurants in Kent!

  • Looking across woodland (an ocean of bluebells in late Spring!) and the owner’s vineyards just beyond, you are set in a beautiful countryside location. There are some fantastic walks starting right from the cottage with the critically acclaimed Marquis restaurant and Alkham village not even a mile away. The cottage has been tastefully furnished to a contemporary, quality finish. There is also a shared terrace and lawn outdoor space with garden furniture.

    The front door opens to the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchen is modern, spacious and well equipped, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. There is dining for 4 persons and plenty of comfortable lounge seating with feature electric fire and Freeview TV. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, both with en-suite shower-rooms, the master includes a king size double bed and the second bedroom has two 2'6" single beds.
