"Sandra, our host, was amazing. She ensured we had everything we needed and made us a hearty breakfast to start our day. Our host carried our luggage both up and down the stairs for us and we were on the top floor. This was greatly appreciated. If you cannot manage stairs, this would not be the property for you. As noted in the booking platform, there is no elevator. The Maison Dieu is conveniently located and within walking distance of many restaurants, Dover Castle, Cliffs of Dover and the waterfront."

"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
