"It’s a great hotel with wonderful staff, but there is very little within walking distance. Had hoped to do some shopping but after driving to find someplace to shop, everything was closed. If you are a hotel snob who lives on room service and the exercise room, it’s just great. For me, however, give me a place with vending machines and a simple microwave located near a bustling shopping mall, not an artwork in the middle of nothing and nowhere. "Wonderful three night stay. We interacted with multiple staff who were friendly and helpful. We had touring bicycles along and were given a safe place to store our bicycles in the hotel. Staff were never rushed and helped us with multiple questions as we sorted out our departure on a bicycle tour. Our room was beautiful as is the large lobby of the hotel. Location in downtown Minneapolis is great for walking, cycling, and public transit. "
