"All of the staff were excellent, always smiling and friendly. We arrived before the check-in time but were checked in early with no issue; a pleasant surprise. My friend’s phone charger broke during our stay and the receptionist went out of his way to find one for her.
Very nice hotel, decor is lovely as are the facilities. Room was clean with plenty of natural light, spacious too being one of the biggest standard hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Our room was serviced every day. Only change is a bottle of water would’ve been welcomed.
The breakfast that was included was nice and varied. Hot and cold selections with the typical savoury and sweet options such as eggs, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, vegetables even crepes. But some more unexpected items like grilled courgette and peppers, prawns, smoked salmon and sun-dried tomatoes. My only small complaint was the hot food could’ve been hotter.
It was in a good location, lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance from the hotel. It was a 10-15 minute easy walk into the old town, alternatively lots of buses and an Uber journey into town averaged €5."
