There were so many monkeys every day. We saw toucans Maciel’s, spider monkeys and capuchins. There are so many trees and flowers that makes this place so beautiful. The staff were so lovely and helped us organize tours and taxis while we were there. The beach is right in front and this area of Costa Rica is so beautiful.

Staff was helpful. The location of the lodge is amazing. The secluded beach is one of the best. However, there seems almost no good options for vegetarian meals. Also, there is no ceiling fan in the rooms which gets very hot in humod in summer.

Consider this more of a rustic camping-like experience. Cabins have screens, but bugs still come in. Incredible location! Spider monkeys were swinging above our cabin every morning, holwers start up at day break, and capuchins befriended us at the beach. Scarlett macawas everywhere, we saw them constantly, as well as toucans. The beach immediately out front is wavy and rough, but my kids still jumped in the waves daily. The highlight is San Josecito beach, a 17 minute walk along the ocean. It is a calmer bay with a reef and plenty of fish. We swam with a 4-5 foot sea turtle for half an hour. This place was deserted until noon every day. Food was excellent, fresh and traditional. They make fresh fruit juices daily! Staff are very lovely and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. It was a very memorable part of our trip and we felt fully immersed in the jungle at ocean forest.

Lovely staff, great food, as others have said it's very rustic which depends on your point of view how you take that. I loved it however, both ATV transfers we asked for didn't materialise which, esp for the route back, was mildly annoying. Being in the room whilst it was raining cats and dogs during the night was incredible

Un petit coin d'enchantement, perdu entre jungle et plages paradisiaques. L'accueil au top, le personnel d'une gentillesse absolue, le calme omniprésent, et les rencontres avec les oiseaux et animaux surprenantes. A recommander sans hésitations !
