Loved sitting out in the garden and reading after a long walk round the hills or along the coast. Great location to explore the area and further a field. We lucked out with the weather. "We couldn’t get into the property because it has been closed to the public for some time, Expedia obviously didn’t know about that because they kept sending us emails regarding our stay and when we turned up There after a late night ferry crossing we were stuck in the back of beyond and having tried to book other hotels in Dumfries with no joy we won’t be using Expedia again ever!!
