We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The room was exceptionally roomy, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to provide useful information and recommendations to make our stay more enjoyable. The location was very convenient, making it easy to explore what Dubai has to offer. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous selection of options, including a variety of traditional dishes and local delicacies, giving us a lovely taste of the local cuisine. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and appreciated the welcoming staff, convenient location and delicious breakfast. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai!

Beautiful large room with a good sized bathroom with a lovely view but not much storage space. Breakfast was very busy and could do with some refining waited 10-15 minutes for hot drinks most days and food items not replenished quickly enough.Possible adult only area would be nice. Staff were very polite but seemed overworked.Pool area was very nice comfy sunbeds and attentive staff. Please note there is no shuttle service to beach.

We stayed here for four nights and this our second time at this hotel. Reception staff are so polite and helpful, and always make you feel warmly welcomed. The room was beautiful and spacious, we had an incredible view facing out towards the Burj Kalifa. It is a very easy walk to the metro station and Dubai mall. Would stay here every time.

I stayed at Sofitel Dubai Downtown from September 8 until September 14. The positive aspect was the clean, well organized room and bathroom. However, the breakfast team and management was disorganized and inexperienced. Making a simple cup of coffee was a challenge for them. Definitely NOT a Five Star hotel. The entrance to the Spa had a very unpleasant odour. It seemed as though Housekeeping stored cleaning supplies in a room nearby. Also the general ambience around the Spa was uninspiring while the gym was ill-equipped.

I was only staying for a few hours during a stopover, but this was a fantastic choice. The location was perfect: Right in Downtown Dubai, with a kosher restaurant on the top floor! I sat on the most comfortable chaise lounge at the pool looking perfectly at the tallest building in the world. The staff was more than friendly, and greeted me each time I came and went through the lobby.The room was GRAND, with a fantastic view of the Burj Dubai, as well as a complimentary night robe and slippers. I needed a laundry bag for my dirty laundry, and the attendant brought two luxury laundry bags to me a few minutes after a called. It was definitely worth the money - even for my short stopover - and all the more so for an overnight stay.
