Disliked: Cleanliness
I was slightly disappointed in my stay here after reading reviews that it was so good. The prices were high compared to normal times of the year I suspect because there was an event in the city. The bed was comfortable and clean but the common areas weren’t very clean. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The bar staff were Not! So in other words it did its purpose for a night or two but that’s about it.

Liked: Staff & service
Good location, rooms were as described and as expected for a hostel
nice location, clean rooms, staff seemed friendly and helpful. beds were hard as a rock and the pillows were so flat it was like i didn’t have one at all, but overall a good place to stay for a few days in dublin
Easy to navigate and friendly staff, the shared room was clean too
Easy check in and check out, everything that costed extra was all signposted so you know what you are expecting to pay if you want it.
Overall nice stay at my first hostel experience
The room was clean, and toilets cleaned regularly but at busy times which made things a bit awkward. The bar usually had many people but there was always a space or table free

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel last week. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very relaxing.
Good friendly people it is its own little community, so much more than a hotel. It a pub, an office, a great place to hang out. Fancy some ping pong, shuffle board, darts, pool? They got cha!!
WOW. My first time in a Hostel and I am so impressed! I stayed in an all girls dorm and it was like having a girls night sleepover every night (I’m a chatty Kathy and love connecting with people). GREAT location and I bought a bike pass to get around the city. Easy check in and they have a small shop wall with items if you forget anything. HOT showers and massage level pressure. Didn’t try any food but the bar had a good selection and price. Staff is very friendly and prompt with requests.
I wish I could give this hotel a zero star rating, but unfortunately one star is the lowest I can go. I couldn’t spend the night because of how bad this hotel is. It is way over priced. Here’s a list of issues I had.
Cons:
-dirty room
-not a safe area
-door didn’t lock
-door was on it’s hinges, but vary lose and almost came off when someone pounded on the door.
-window to the ally did not close securely.
-8 euros extra if you want a towel
-3 euros extra if you want shampoo
-Staff was not helpful, and even hostile to work with.
-despite failing to provide the advertised accommodations, the hotel refused to process a refund.
Good location and cheap for Dublin area. Bathroom was a bit dirty but still usable. Sleeping was fine and reception is 24/7 so really helpful. Area is safe.
There's a bar in the ground floor..great for sports and food.
Also right next to jameson distillery tour!
Would come again as a solo traveller.
This is a great place to stay for a younger crowd. We were looking for somewhere cheap so it was perfect. However, it is better suited for a young traveler wanting to meet new people and have entertainment in the evening.
