"Front desk staff are super friendly and helpful; rooms are recently renovated; property is quiet and centrally located. Had breakfast downstairs the next morning and it was fast, hot, and tasty. "

"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Laurel for the weekend as it was our anniversary. We enjoy visiting the area and wineries at least once a year. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. We had a complete view of Seneca lake and liked how close we were to downtown Watkins Glen. "

"Lakeside Resort was a wonderful experience. The cabins are so nice and well maintained, our only critique is the furniture in the "Living room" was very uncomfortable, if we were 5'2" it would have been fine but after wine tasting all day we just wanted to sit back with a glass of "the find of the day" and relax, but the chairs didn't have tall enough backs to actually rest your head on so we ended up watching TV in the bedroom where we could rest against the headboard with pillows. Rocky came and visited every morning and took our 4 y.o. Boxer (Layla) on morning strolls and even a quick dip in the pond, which she loved! The Bistro was excellent and we had dinner there 2 evenings, one evening we had Pizza delivered and the last evening we ate at The Decoy right up the road, which was also very good. The property is so nice with the trails and waterfall area, the chairs and hammock located on the rocks in the middle of the stream were fantastic. We saw several deer and a fawn on our daily walks as well. We highly recommend staying here especially if you are traveling with your dogs, what a great place! "

"Staff is very nice. Chinese restaurant across the street was good. Breakfast was good. Only thing is bed could use an upgrade. Wry nice property. Would definitely stay here again."
