"I think it was perfect for us. We were on a sabbatical and it was so quiet. The view from the outside balcony was enjoyable in the evening. "Another return visit and another flawless stay. They get it right here, the arrival, the attention, the ambiance, it’s the attraction. Then there’s the rooms, spacious, comfortable and well presented. The restaurant is intimate, friendly and fairly priced. The public rooms are welcoming, warm and well furnished. These rooms are a great place to relax, read a book, have afternoon tea, have after dinner drinks. Ramble the grounds, try your hand at tennis or fishing. If the weather obliges sit outside with a drink and take in the scenery. We love this place and always want to return!"
