We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way, and it is right on the route. It is a large friendly hostel. Our room had two sets of very comfortable bunk beds.

Nice basic place
Nice, basic place. Everything was good! Good location.
Stayed here as part of the TGO, quiet, right off the Great Glen Way about 5 minutes walk from
the tourist cooridor (canals, shops and food). Large grounds. The bunkhouses are.nice, so are the castle rooms.
The total price for 1 room was shown as £35.20 but at the reception we were charged £ 140.80.
The receptionist advised to check with Hotels.com on the pricing .
The stay was good and a quiet place.
We stayed in a private family room which was clean and spacious. 3 off the 4 beds had usb/power plugs that worked. Bedding included but towels are for hire. Common spaces were way too warm, but room had windows which enabled us to lower the room temp. Each room was themed. We stayed in the Otter room which was decorated with pictures and fact sheets about otters (we loved this little touch)!
We arrived about 8pm and the inside parking lot was full. We were able to find street parking a little ways away.
Breakfast was basic for the price, toast, jam, porridge, apple and orange juice. We would pass on breakfast if we stayed there again, but otherwise we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Cute place. No elevators.
The location is great. 5 minute walk to the lockes and restaurants. Parking was easy. Hostel was easy to find. Our room was up three flights of stairs with NO elevator. Had to pay for towels. Had to strip the bedding and bring it downstairs with the towels at the end of the stay. Shower was in the room and no problems. They do serve dinner and breakfast on site for a fee. There is a small bar in house that is pretty well stocked. The people working there were nice. Because there were 4 of us, we had to take the 6 person room and the room was over 200 pounds for one night. It stung a little that I paid 200 pounds and had to pay for a towel and strip my bed. Havent stayed in a hostel for 25 years. Maybe this is just how it is…
Truly amazing lodge, very spacious, creative and located in a quiet place up the village. Breakfast, amenities - all is exceptional. Would give a higher rating if I could.
My Son stayed here while running the Lock Ness Baxter's Marathon.
It is a hostel and sleeping was in an area with a few bunk beds.
As it is right next to Loch Ness, it is ideal for sight seeing and hikers that would rather not sleep in a tent.

Over All - A Great Place To Stay
A quiet and pleasant little hostel, after planning to camp most of the Great Glen way and getting caught in a torrential downpour on the first night we really appreciated the opportunity to dry out and prepare for the next stage. Vicky the proprietor takes the time to get to know her guests and appears to appreciate nurturing her highland oasis.,She does the cooking cleaning, gives helpful advice and even sought out a pack of cards for us. I would recommend it to others and it's only a couple of minutes walk off the route.
