Fantastic overnighter

Quick overnight trip, came up after being at sport outside in rain, very cold tired and room was so warm, host friendly as it was late check in, very helpful, got me the fan I wanted to. Only slightly negative was bed in main room uncomfortable however rest of stay primo couldn't recommend enough and would definitely stay again thanks

Nice place to stay

Easy check in with a friendly host. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities catered for. About a 10 minute walk to shops. Could hear traffic noise but not so much as it disturbed our sleep.

Spacious rooms, had a separate queen bedroom, plus 2 twins in the living room area, kitchen with fridge and microwave and cooktop with any needed amenities. Had a heater for cool nights, separate laundry facilities that were just down the steps. Place could use some updating, but for our stay it was the right price and just fine for us

We were at the end of our trip on the South Island and arrived very late and also had to leave early in the morning. Mike was super responsive and accommodating to our schedule… so awesome! The room had everything we needed for the stay. It was easy to get to and parking simple. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Very comfortable

Up graded to a 2 bedroom apartment, very spacious and well equipped. Maybe a little tired but certainly clean and comfortable. Very helpful proprietor. Good parking, under cover.

Older motel but very clean. Comfortable chairs with footrests that you don't find in modern motels. Roomy unit with separate bedroom. Very helpful owner. Parking was under the unit or on the road. We chose the road, the car was safe, and it meant we could park right outside our unit. Close to the motorway for a quick trip to the airport.

Best stay ever!

We stayed there for a total of 2 nights and 2 days! It was the absolute best!! Excellent, friendly and welcoming customer service. Great location, it’s close to the city and close to all the shops, attractions, etc. the place is super tidy, it is not a modern design but it is very homely and spotless! Plenty of parking, you can park privately on the residence or road side. Comfortable furniture, they have plenty of heating options that allow you to stay warm and cosy especially with the harsh coldness of Dunedin! Amazing price, it is an absolute steal! So lucky I spotted it whilst surfing the web for accommodations. Thank you once again Carisbrook Motel, we will definitely check in with you again, next time we are in Dunedin!
