The bar also needs to expand the ranges of beers and lagers on offer, not enough choice. The outside lighting needs to work, as we passed it both on arrival and when we returned from finding a decent dinner in Ollerton, and there is an enormous pothole in the entrance way, I drive a 4x4 so it can cope, but a small car could do suspension and tyre damage in that pothole, and would the hotel take responsibility? "

"A hidden gem. Staff make the difference with their welcoming arrival and food was lovingly prepared catering for vegetarian and pescatarian. The room was super cosy clean and catered for all essentials a cup of tea or coffee is much needed. Everything was lovely thank you to all the staff every one of you are an asset to the hotel and pub. We will visit again. "

"Upgraded to a suite and it was absolutely perfect for my husband's Birthday surprise. Clean, spacious room, staff excellent especially Sam on reception she was so helpful and also the lovely girls on the Spa reception. Breakfast was brilliant with a great choice. Will definitely stay again."
