"Good base for catching a couple more Munros"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Blairbell Cottage! It's a beautiful cottage and perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the games room with the games, table football and SNES. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The wi-fi is very fast and rock solid. The beds are really comfy in every room. The views from the front over the fields and moors is beautiful. We did walks around down to the lochs and around the estate, and spotted wildlife including red squirrels....

"We had a marvelous stay.The property was clean and very comfortable. It had all we needed for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The views over the fields and valley from the living room were outstanding and made a great backdrop for our holiday. Nearby Crieff and other towns easily accessible. We will be back. "Overall the property was good to stay in however the following issues should be considered. The pillows were extremely lumpy and unusable. The quilt cover was too big for the quilt that made sleeping uncomfortable. The security lights from the joinery business across the road shone into the main bedroom all night as the blinds did not provide coverage and there were no curtains. It was difficult to pull the blinds down as there was no drawing mechanisms. The postcode using Google maps does...

Was not as advertised. Vrbo ad states "This vacation home is located in Callander". Only after booking was made did we learn that the property was in fact some 5/6 miles outside of Callander, with no amenities nearby, except for a pub (next door) - The Byrne - which is advertised as having "great food and drink all...

"Lovely place, very cumfortable, and well equiped, particularly the kitchen. much to see around ; banks of loch Tail beautiful in the evening, on foot from the location, much more without sun, Glen Lyon fabulous, and Ben An offers great views on the loch under it; it's worth to pay attention to the distancies by car, but some roads are really stectacular. Take the time to discover"

The balcony is a real sun trap in the morning - yes we had the sun 🌞 Killin itself is lovely and the surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to do for all. Our host was super helpful whenever we had any issues - which to be fair were all down to us. Great family weekend, enjoyed by all - will be back."
