"Perfect location on Lake Erie, just steps to the beach. There is a large, well kept yard with Adirondack chairs. We were able to watch spectacular sunsets in the evening. The apartment itself has everything you might need. There is a large living room with ample seating and a small dining area within the kitchen. The hallway is shared with the other apartment which is really not a problem. One just has to be considerate of other guests staying there. The common areas are a little cluttered but as this includes games and outdoor stuff one cannot complain. This was our second stay and we would love to return."
"If you love the "old-school" motels, this is a great one. It's clean, safe, and just a great place to stay. I loved the feel of the place, and the lady behind the desk was absolutely wonderful. I am a road-tripper from the old days, and spent a lot of time in motels like this one with my parents. "
"Our growing family enjoyed staying in this house for the second year in a row. The location is perfect. The only thing missing is a view of the sunset! "
"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. It was so quiet and cool in the evenings that I slept very soundly, and the location is totally pastoral and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
