Dunkirk is less expensive place to stay along that route given that Erie and other places have tourist attractions and such and charge more for lodging. But you get what you pay for. This hotel said it had a fitness center what it had with Iraq weights and a bicycle that didn't work. The facility really needs to be renovated. Still, it was a safe place to sleep

Certain staff were great, I had to stay here during the sale of our house, after a few days we had a fruit fly problem. I was offered a different room but chose to just stay in it due to them only having availability on 2nd floor -but no working elevator. On the plus side, staff was great & they allow dogs.
