This hotel is a gem! Every room feels like a step back in time, but with every modern convenience. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about the city. And the rooftop lounge is breathtaking. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location and stay however both nights (on opposite ends of the week) with two different rooms..the shower flooded the room.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel while visiting Florence. So close to EVERYTHING! Clean, affordable. Just book it!

What a fantastic experience at Milu! To start, the staff was friendly and made us feel at home right away. Our room was clean and quiet, with the most amazing shower! We enjoyed the breakfast on the patio and found it to be a very satisfying way to start the day. The hotel maintained a relaxed feel while still being vibrant - colorful, modern art and design to enjoy while relaxing with a cup of tea from the open library. We would definitely stay again, thanks Milu for a great experience!

This hotel has the perfect location, near enough to walk to everything, but in an upscale, quiet area. Right next to the Arno.

Everything about this property was unique and well thought. Appreciated the interior design and attention to art and finer details. Truly enjoyed the way in which the stone and wood from the ancient tower was incorporated into the design. the apartment did in fact feel luxurious and very efficient.

Gorgeous place and quiet sanctuary right in the middle of a busy, hectic city. No street noise in the rooms. every single staff member was delightfully helpful. If I was forced to complain about something,.. I would say that the lobby restaurant was hired out for private evets multiple nights so hotel guests had no ability to access that amenity.

Greeted warmly and professionally. Every need attended to immediately upon request - staff superb. Room divine - with fabulous views of Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace/Biboli Gardens. Portrait creates the perfect Florence experience!

Wonderful experience! Very nice hotel, with great staff! Ovidio was just amazing, he welcomed us, showed us everything we needed to know about Florence on the map, got us reservations for a guided tour of the Acadamia, made dinner reservations, and was so very helpful. This is a great hotel in the heart of Florence. You literally get out of the door into everything you would need and want, including all the most amazing main attractions. A few steps from Il Duomo. Beautiful rooms, great service and they also have an adjacent rooftop restaurant and bar to watch the most beautiful sunset.

As much as reading reviews on line can help with decisions, I tend to trust people that I know to make suggestions when traveling to a new place for the first time. That is how I found this gem. I honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say about this property or the people that work there. Great location, good breakfast, nice bar.
