"My family stayed on the little island for four nights and had an absolutely perfect vacation. This is our 2nd trip to the islands and it was just as good as the first trip last summer. We kayaked, canoed over the big island, played games, explored the island, cooked amazing meals, learned new card games, wrote in our journals, swam and most importantly fished (my older son caught 200 fish!!). This is now going to be a yearly family tradition that we hope to share with our friends in coming...

"Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! I will definitely return for a girl's trip with my sisters!! (Cabin 17)"
