For one of the most expensive hotels in Dusseldorf the Hyatt doesn’t disappoint. It’s pretty isolated from the city but then that’s part of its attraction. Plenty of excellent restaurants in walking distance if you want to explore and Rhine tower is just 10 minutes away. Lovely walks along the river on tree shaded paths and don’t miss the two Frank Gehry buildings across the bridge. The only slight complaint was the 40 euro breakfast which seems excessive - I just wanted a coffee!

Gorgeous hotel. Weird area to get to by car but nice view of the river and great restaurants near by. Also nice restaurant and bar on site. Very expensive tho. The steam room and sauna and spa was fabulous. Very clean. Altho be prepared people go nude! All in all I liked this hotel a lot. It was a bit far from the convention I was there for but that was my fault.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf was lovely, the staff were extremely helpful and the property was clean and modern. The only small downside was that we had to change rooms - we’d reserved a deluxe king as we wanted the extra space, but when we arrived we discovered the shower was completely open with no privacy, which wasn’t suitable for two friends sharing a room. The staff were super helpful and moved us straight away to a standard twin which had more privacy in the bathroom, and to be honest the size of the main space wasn’t that different. If you are travelling with a friend rather than a partner or alone, just be aware that the bathrooms are completely open and offer no privacy! Also the toilet is in a separate room with no sink, if that kind of thing bothers you. Overall nice hotel though, nice location by the water, a little bit out of town so quieter. And cannot fault how helpful the staff are.

Hotel is excellent with comfortable rooms and handsome public areas. Restaurant grossly overpriced with average food, although breakfast at $40 is the best cooking of the day. Staff very pleasant. Cross the harbor bridge to reach agreeable di I g and visit the stylish neighborhood. Not much surrounding the hotel itself. Public transport is near by to all parts of town.

Great location , clean modern rooms , great instructed views of the city and the Rhine Only serious problem is the night manager (3-4 April) was extremely rude and did not want to help with a taxi that stole money from us basically saying it wasn't his problem. Won't go back because of that poor customer service. Other than that was a nice stay
