"This is a lovely hotel located in a spot that is easily walkable to both the train station and the central area. The hotel has a great atmosphere because it is housed in a historic building and has been smartly decorated. Breakfast was good as well. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. "

"The Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, you at right in the center of old Haarlem. Plenty of good restaurants, pubs and cafes within 2 minutes walk. The only downside to this Hotel is that it desperately needs renewing the carpeting throughout, hallways and rooms. Also, there is no Air Conditioning, but the rooms are kept cool and have fans. I’m not sure about visiting in the summer time. "

"Very convenient to the town square and shopping/dining venues. Located on a canal. Tended to be noisy during the night. Difficult to get luggage upstairs without elevator. Help was not offered when checking in. Lighting is dim. All this being said we would stay here again as the location makes up for negatives "

"When we arrived at the Hilton about noon I was not feeling well, my husband asked for an early check-in and within an hour we were able to get into a room so I could lay down. They even delivered a bowel of fruit and some bottled water to our room, they were a very considerate staff. "
