"There were 3 cockroaches on bed when I opened the door. And a few more on the walls and toilet.
We were told breakfast will start at 6:30. But yet, they started to serve it after 7:15 2 times during our 4 days stay.
The reception said "the chef is late on his way". There was not even apologies.
The wifi was there but in my room there was not signal.
We were there for business, amd we cant work efficiently in that kind of environment. So we wanted to shorten our stay at this lodge, but...

"The room was not only clean but had "character". The bathroom was spacious and had both shower and bathtub. And, what really was extraordinary is the restaurant and the lounge / outdoor pool space, both wether you sit there and work or just chill. Last but not least, the staff is as friendly and helpful as it gets. This is the pl where to stay in Lusaka. "
"The pictures were way different - This is definitely one hotel needs maintenance. I rate it as 2 stars instead of 4. We waited 2 hrs to check in due to rooms were not ready.. For the breakfast it was always the same no good selection and always 1 hr late to start. WiFi not good at all. The bathroom smells sewage. A/C are not reliable as well. "
Serene home with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a family travelling together.
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at home this beautiful family home! The house was spotless, well-decorated, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing family vacation. Our hostess, Florence, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She communicated with us clearly about the electric generator and made sure we were informed in advance about how to conserve power during occasional outages, which are common in Lusaka. Her guidance made everything smooth and stress-free.The location was perfect, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. My family especially enjoyed spending time together in the cozy living area and peaceful outdoor space. If I had to mention anything for improvement, the kitchen could use a few upgraded pots and pans, and adding unlimited internet would be a great bonus—especially for families or guests working remotely.Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to stay here. Thank you, Florence, for sharing your lovely home with us — we’d absolutely come back again"
