"There were spider webs all over the room, a towel hanging in the window as they installed a floor AC, broom just lying around with no home and the recycling at the side of the building was an eye sight. There were areas of drywall mud on the wall that needed to be repaired. The room has great potential. It’s a beautiful location within walking distance of some great restaurants and the beach."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with ample of space (we were 4 adults). The location is perfect and near all major natural attractions in the peninsula. We enjoyed the fact that the cottage was in a quiet and natural surroundings. I would recommend it to anyone with no hesitation."

"This property is clean and well-maintained and situated on a quiet road near to the gorgeous bay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there was coffee available. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was adequate enough for our family of four but larger groups or non-family groups will definitely find this be a pinch point as there is only one bathroom and no powder room. There is great outdoor space for sitting, eating, hot tubbing, and cooking as well as a fire pit and plenty of dry wood available. The only issues we had during our stay, were that there was inadequate dish soap and dishwasher detergent supplies which Derek was very apologetic for and offered to cover the cost of what we purchased. Also note that while they do supply bath towels, there are no face towels or wash towels supplied. There was also only one dish towel for the kitchen which was not very clean at the end of a 7 night stay with children when there is no laundry available to wash anything. We ended up purchasing some items and using the laundromat which is 30 mins away so it was a quite inconvenient. Overall the stay was very pleasant and the property was very comfortable. We had a great week."

"It really is a great location. Detached house with two balconies and a garden by the water, even featuring a private jetty in the lake. Free use of the canoe. The house has three fine bedrooms and a beautiful living room with a view of the lake. The only downside is that the single bathroom with a toilet is a bit small, and with four people, it is a bit of a struggle with just one toilet. However, this is a layout that is common in somewhat older houses. This is more than compensated for by the location. The host is very friendly and responds quickly and clearly in communication. Highly recommended."
