Lots of board games, outdoor activities like bocce ball, volleyball, etc. and a fire pit. Very quiet at night, under an astonishing star-y night sky. Also, loved the layout of the home, will keep it in mind if I opt to build one :)"

It definitely has the true cottage feel, meaning not everything is “perfect,” but that’s part of its character. For example, we noticed some cobwebs, the lighting could be better, and there was a bit of clutter around the back. None of this took away from our experience, and it felt in line with the price point and what you’d expect from a genuine cottage stay. If you’re looking for an authentic getaway in a beautiful spot and aren’t expecting everything to be magazine-perfect, this is a wonderful choice."

Overall we are happy to choose this place. I truly enjoy the quietness on the front porch in the morning with a cup of tea :)! "Our stay at John and Sue’s property was wonderful. We hiked and explored the peninsula most days and ended our days with a swim in the bay and just relaxing at the cottage. The cottage was clean and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The updated kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything needed. If you are expecting warm nights bring a fan but otherwise we had a great stay."
