"Our family was looking for a place away from the crowds and on the water. We found one in Judy’s home. She was always there for tips on good places to shop and eat. Francisco, the caretaker, was very friendly and always had a smile for us. Though we didn’t know much Spanish, he was really good with Google translate. The house itself had everything we needed to cook our meals. What impressed me was there were several ways to make a good cup of coffee! And, as I told Judy, the home had a very relaxing vibe to it. "This Hacienda is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning, so much to see and explore. The little casita rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were wonderful. We stayed here as a family of four and can’t wait to return. Next time we would bring our own food as there’s a kitchen in the Casita, and the restaurant is only opened for breakfast which we didn’t know. Everything was wonderful. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, and a time to relax in gorgeous surroundings then this is the place. It’s also only one hour from Merida, Izamal and the beach. So a great location for a longer term stay. "

"Excellent host and cleaning crew. I forgot some of my belongings at the house after I checked out. I messaged Alberto and I got my stuff back from the lady that cleans the house without a problem. Easy check in/check out, quiet neighborhood and the restaurant The Palapa that’s a block away from the house serves delicious food."
