The Ostrich House! Cozy, comfortable and private.

  • Relax and enjoy our charming little house that was once used in our ostrich business. A big, smart TV, great Wi-fi (Starlink), a nice comfortable king size bed and plenty of peace and quiet make this a great place to stay. Come enjoy our beautiful White Mountains where there are trails to hike, great fishing, and snow skiing only 20 minutes away. We also have horse boarding available with booking if needed.

This was a cozy home on a quiet road. There were clear instructions given in a helpful binder. I appreciated the fact that the kitchen was stocked with spices and oil so that I could cook my meals instead of going out. Thank you very much!

Me and my bf visisted AZ for the first time to visit my mom for Mother’s Day and needed somewhere cute and clean. This property checked all the boxes. We loved the fact that the cabinets were stocked with all the essentials (coffee, oatmeal, water, snacks etc). Close enough to local shops but still feels like you’re in your own little slice of peaceful heaven. I made friends with the horses across the street too. Pictures look EXACTLY like the unit. When we visit again this is the only place we will be staying!

This was our first trip through the area. The Ostrich House was exactly as described in the listing. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The property had everything you could possibly need and a really well guide book for local attractions.

Elk they have elk

It’s a wonderful little property. We really enjoyed staying here very quiet and very dark at night so that we can see all the stars not something you can do in a big city in addition to that there’s a small herd of elk that frequence this area.
