"It's disappointing to have to make a negative review on an otherwise better than average hotel. Currently, both main lifts are out of service. Guests have to reach eight bedroom floors via 1 small service lift and to access this through staff areas/corridors. My gripe was about just how satisfactory these arrangements were. To me, they were not. Detritus of all types was evident, dirty linen, loaded trays, food waste, and all kinds on 'non guest friendly' clutter. Guests are expected to walk through this on the way to their room with family members/luggage etc. The GM's message to team members somewhat at odds with the reality of the situation - and in a premium hotel."

"Excellent service from receptionist on arrival and they kindly upgraded us to a suite due to our celebration and we were incredibly grateful. The room was immaculate and sound from the streets outside was quiet due to the double layer of windows. Ear plugs were provided in case though. Staff all really helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again."

"Loved the facilities at this hotel and the onsite bar was pretty decent quality. Check in experience could be improved as despite 3 staff on the desk, self check-in was preferred and the free parking option we purchased was not clear how to redeem."
