"Cottage furniture broke and sofa bed settee very uncomfortable practically sat on the floor. Owner did responde when informed about broken table and sofa chair but these were not replaced during our stay. Had to clean the grill pan and cottage alittle dusty.had to spend alot of time out of cottage as uncomfortable to stay in. Location near to everything."

"I would describe the facilities as basic. Bare minimum of utensils in the kitchen. No instructions on use of the cooker. Bedrooms, the beds were comfortable but no bedside lights. The shower in the en suite did not work, fortunately the one over the bath did. Door entry was unpredictable. Massive TV in the lounge with many channels but no freeview. Lincoln is a beautiful place with plenty to see. The host answered my queries promptly but I wouldn't rush to stat there again."

"Got to the property and found someone living there and it wasn't the host. Couldn't get in touch with the supposed host. Contacted vrbo who were as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. Had to then urgently find other accommodation which thankfully we did through a reliable source. Booking. Com. Had contacted vrbo two days before the booking to raise concerns and was told everything was fine and i shouldn't worry. Overall experience was horrendous. "We had a lovely stay. The home was clean and modern and the hosts were thoughtful."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Lincoln and found lots to do. Property about a 20 minute walk to the centre and nice to walk through the Arboretum. Hot tub was fun and pretty well maintained but property itself quite run down and poor attention to detail (no batteries in TV remote, freezer unusable as so frosted up, no dishwasher etc...I'm a holiday cottage owner myself and think about the quality we offer and the welcome pack we always include; this was barely adequate in comparison. "

"Great central location with an easy and keyless check in. We did have a few problems to begin our stay due to an app error so our booked room wasn't ready but after contact with the host this was quickly sorted. We booked 3 nights and had issues with the shower in the room not working but again hostnd staff were very helpful and hot this resolved. "
