"It's not a bad place to stay in a pinch or if you're arriving late and don't want to go into the City, but the grounds are not clean at all, nor are the rooms sound proof. Staff are helpful enough. The shuttle is great and very convenient."

"Public was in probably one of the best neighborhoods in all of New York, it was so accessible to get everywhere by foot, subway and uber. The two airports are only 30 minutes away and the hotel offers a cool nightlife as well I didn't need to venture too far from. The only issue I have is that I booked a room on a higher floor expecting a view per Expedia description paying the extra $$ and all i saw was the building behind us and that's it. "Staff was great and very friendly. This is a basic hotel. Nothing fancy. No coffee pot in room etc. Tv ran on internet service which in our room location was very spotty and at first tv didnt work at all. Location to time sq is perfect. Took a long time to get car from valet upon checkout. Overall a good hotel for a couple of nights"
