"The staff were the most welcoming and helpful people I’ve ever met on my trip to China, They allowed me to borrow their phone for emergencies, and the location is in a great place with lots of tasty restaurants. The place is also very wide, clean, well-maintained with no bad smells whatsoever. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Shanghai and Shanghai Disney. The free shuttles between the airport and Disney were amazing as well. Will look forward to staying here again!! It is a very foreigner friendly hotel."

"This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in all of China and we have both been a few times. The service is outstanding. The free pick up and drop off service from Pudong Airport and Disneyland is no trouble. And they helped navigate the subway system which is outstanding too. Tip we use the Metroman apps for getting around Chinese city subways. Usual hotels allow one water a day person, they have them available all the time for free. The breakfast is outstanding. I especially loved the pug dog who is so mellow and cute. The bathrooms are modern and you can choose a Disney themed room if you wanted. The staff are so helpful and couldn’t be better. We will be returning for sure!!! They have direct messaging on WeChat which is so much better than a phone in your room as you can message for help anytime whether at the hotel or out and about. When we arrived an amazing staff member helped take our bags to our room. There is air conditioning in every room which you have control over. The beds are comfortable… not too hard and not to soft. Beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing. Highly recommended."

"Staff spoke very poor English so while they wanted to help you, it was difficult. Internet didn’t work for my whole trip and I was told (not sure how true) that Air China have offices in the hotel and they restrict the internet. Food was very poor (evening) at the hotel but the breakfast was great. Plenty of food options locally with a decent Irish pub and great tapas place within 5 minutes. 4/10"
