"The room was dirty, stained/dirty sheets, floor unswept, not washed, bathroom tub surround dirty. Windows to the view were dirty. Hotel was not as pictured in the advertisement. Furniture is outdated and paint is chipping off. Tv came on but no cable or apps worked, nothing to watch. We were given a second room after complaining about the first one. The second one was better, but the sheets were still very old and the floor need to washing. Staff were nice and helpful, great view"

"This was perfect for our 2-night stay in Cape Breton. Perfect location. Easy to find. Comfortable beds. Close to restaurants and everything we needed. SPECTACULAR view! Basic continental breakfast was much appreciated. We'd stay here again for sure."

"Innkeeper was friendly and helpful at check in. Motel is small and showing its age. Exterior entrance door featured a wood block addition apparently to repair a prior forced entry. The advertised lake view out of the back entry door is blocked by the owner’s expansion into large tent units. Staying here was okay but humbling."

"The dome is spacious, clean, and has adequate amenities for an overnight stay. Great location as it situated along the road and next to Tim Hortons and gas station. Staff is kind and helpful esp when the dome smelled plastic fumes maybe because of the sun’s heat, he quickly helped open the dome exhaust windows to let the air flow. The cons is that washroom is outside and shared. About two domes are functional and already open to the public, few more domes are being built. Hope they’d consider...

"The staff at breakfast were very friendly but the room was very musty/moldy/smoky smelling. One of the two beds wasn't very clean. There were three chairs piled in the corner of the room for some reason. The beds were very soft. Washroom floor wasn't very clean. There was no where to hang your towels. Cheaper than most places in the area but significantly less nice, maybe for $100 less than some of the other places you could over look the state of the rooms but for $30 to $50 less just spring...

"Just the view outside the window was worth the stay!!! Very nice owner and cleaning staff... Clean and comfortable room with no carpets!!!😁 Just a minute away is a delightful French café called la Provence!!! We went there for our breakfast during our 2 day stay... It is superb!!!"

"The property is very old but iyr room was very nice. A nice young couple mange the property and they were very friendly. I would have liked coffee in my room and not at the front desk ."
