"Due to the motel being renovated I was upgraded to a superior king spa room. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioned and good size room with microwave, tea/coffee making, cutlery/crockery and bar fridge. Pool look good although I was too busy out seeing the sights to try it out. The parking was sufficient although motel wasn't busy, so not sure if motel was busy. Main gate is closed from 6pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends and guests do need to get out of car to open if going out and returning in the evening. Only thing I would suggest is to improve the lighting at front of motel if needing to return in evening as a code for side front gate needs to be entered to gain access and to open main gate. Suggest for future renovation to change the main entry gate to electronic opening gate with swipe card access, due to gate is a little awkward to move.
In all motel is very close to supermarkets, Kmart is across the road. Good, clean budget accommodation for those that just want to rest their heads and spend time seeing the sights."
