"This hotel is the worst in the universe. The rooms are incredibly ugly and poorly maintained; they haven't fixed anything in 25 years. It was a huge disappointment. I ended up with some incredibly loud women next to mine who were partying all night. When I told the hotel to ask them to keep their voices down at midnight, they just told me to be patient because it was someone's birthday. I went to this hotel for 17 years of my life and then stopped going for 10. And it's still the same as it was 27 years ago, everything the same: curtains, beds, headboards, paint, old and old. "Very close to the United Nations, nice and clean rooms, about 5-7 minute walk to the nearest Subway (but if you're keen, you can easily walk to the Times Square, Empire State and surrounding areas in 30 mins no problem. It's a nice walk). "

"This was the perfect spot for me to stay while I was solo traveling in NYC! My room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and was cleaned every day. The property is centrally located in Manhattan and 3 minutes away from the nearest subway station. It was pretty quiet considering and I never had to wait for a bathroom. The rooftop terrace was also beautiful, I couldn't believe what I got for such a great price. I will definitely be back on my next trip to NYC."
