"A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ."

"Great place to stay, reasonably priced and in a great location for accessing Abel Tasman Park and all the things you can do there plus the towns of Motueka (5 minutes), Mapua etc. As for the lodge, we really enjoyed the communal feel and chatting with people from all over the world. "This place is a hidden gem! Upon arrival we got a personal tour of the property, its facilities and our suite from one of the owners.
