"The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. We will be back for sure!"

"Overall the stay was nice. The inside of the home was very neat and tidy. My complaints would be that the outdoor BBQ hut grill was not clean. Also, we were unable to use the hot tub because the chemicals were very overpowering. It was kind of a bummer not being able to use those amenities but otherwise we had a very nice stay."

"There were 26 of us for a nice family gathering. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Only 2 showers for 26 people a little challenging. Kitchen facilities lacking materials as noted in the listing. Bring your own pots and pans. Hot tub and fire pit were a nice addition. All in all, worked out great."

"This house is even more beautiful in person. From the high-quality dishes to the beautiful design, sauna, outdoor space and fenced-in backyard, it was a great vacation for all of us, including the dog. They were working on the barn during our stay but management was very responsive and the workers were so nice. We can't wait to see what they turn the barn into! Location was convenient to the ski area (to visit friends about 30 minutes away) and my in-laws who were also about 25 minutes away. We...

"Our family was attending a wedding at Hunter Mtn Resort. The rental was perfect for our weekend. The location was great,beautiful trail across the street and the wooded lot was peaceful. Wish we had stayed and extra day to enjoy the many restaurants and little towns."

"The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for the 13 of us. The big kitchen, pantry and long dining tables made for fun interaction. The game room with pool table and ping pong table were perfect for after dinner fun. Beautiful property on the river. We plan to go back. Historic homes are tough to maintain and our hope is that it is as nice in the future as it was this week."

"Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication by the property manager. They were awesome!"

"The view lives up to the pictures - it's a stunning location at the end of a long private road - very quiet and lovely. The house is well-appointed from a furnishings standpoint, with a couple of quirks and age spots, but nothing major for distractions. Biggest things to note - bring the little things you might want, especially for food, etc., because there isn't much around to run out to (which is a plus in general, but when you wish you had milk for your coffee...), and light sleepers be...

"We had a great time at Greg’s property. The house is huge and easily accommodated the 25 guests we had. It is very conveniently located for those that like to take advantage of skiing between Hunter and Windham mountains. "We decided on a trip to Hunter Mountain with our family and some of my sons friends. I came across this house and let me tell you the pictures do not do it justice it’s even better in person!! We were beyond happy with the house and the location…. The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine. So much room for our group of 13 including our golden retriever! The kids and adults loved the game room some adults even had a Pac-Man competition. We will definitely stay at this house...

"This location was perfect for a summer getaway! Walkable to downtown, great outdoor area and deck space, including grill and hot tub. Host was very responsive. Multiple golf courses within driving distance along with some convenient hikes made this a great place to stay."

"We travel to the Catskills at least once a year and stay at various locations. What sets this property apart is the true seclusion and absolutely no distractions from the nature around you. Even though it is close to hubs like Wyndham and Hunter (less than 20 to both) when sitting outside it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Inside is clean, cosey by the fire, and lots of fun things to do with our teenagers. Definitely would stay again."
