"We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the bed was very big and comfortable, the service was great and the staff very sweet and friendly. Our room had a beautiful sea view, definitely worth the extra pennies. It’s a bit of a shame that the road just below is quite busy and noisy throughout the day. Nevertheless, it was great to be so close to the sea, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way."
"The hotel was in great location, right in the sea front. Walkable distance to the station, shops, Pier and Theatres. The staff were friendly and the check in was quick and easy "
"Friendly host, room was very cosy and everything was thought about. Really liked the handmade brownies and biscuits… nice touch.
Would highly recommend "
"Stayed at this hotel a few times great for an overnight stay right on the front near the pier clean room comfortable bed really friendly and helpful staff "

Eastbourne has certainly improved in the last few years with much improved hotels and facilities. It felt safe when we were walking along the promenade in the evening. Some lovely little restaurants and coffee shops. Lots of parking with a good pier.

Stayed one night to celebrate a birthday. Dined at the Beachy Head pub, walked on the promenade and the pier (nippy), took an early morning dip in the sea followed by a warm-up in the beach sauna and breakfast at The Beach Deck - excellent!

Eastbourne is a unique place. Great for walking the prom. Good pubs, restaurants and loads of theatres but can be quite rowdy in the town centre.

ONE OF THE BEST SEASIDE RESORTS IN ENGLAND. LOVELY BEACH AND PROMENADE FOR WALK ALONG THE SEA FRONT. TOWN CENTRE EASY TO GET TO FROM SEA FRONT.
"We loved, loved, loved this hotel and would definitely stay again if back in Eastbourne. It was a last minute trip and quite unplanned so I booked based on others great feedback and we have to agree.
Easy parking was followed by such a lovely warm welcome and quick checkin. They have a beautiful old and original lift int he hotel with metal shutters and a seat which was lovely. However what was even nicer was the fact that you are taken to your room to check you are happy with it.
The staff at every contact were friendly and the place spotlessly clean. We would have been very happy had we been staying longer. Another nice touch was the offer of a complimentary glass of wine int he bar at 6pm as a welcome to the hotel. Whilst we couldnt take advantage it was touches like this that made the place feel out of the ordinary and a little more special.
Everything about the hotel showed tradition and elegance.
Well dont to the team working at this hotel - you are doing a great job!!!"
"The best part of staying there was the staff. Each of them were sincerly nice and quite helpful. The breakfast was hot and very good. A great deal for the price. I would stay there again."
"Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Right opposite beach and short walk to pier. Breakfast was lovely, spa/pool great. Had a relaxed time and great sleep in the comfy bed!"
"The hotel was in an excellent location. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a little bit cheap and cheerful, but you get what you pay for. I wasn't execting the Ritz. For the price that I paid, I was really happy with the service and comfort of the room."
