"This is a little nice place to stay, very conveniently located closed to both the old town and the beach. The place is advertised as a "Hostal", which is, theoretically, a lesser type of hotel, however I can't see any reason as to why it is not classified as a hotel, because it has all the trimmings of one. "Very nice property with a nice spa. Temperature control is an option as the air conditioning isn't available some times of year. So if you are there on a warm day you will have to hope the outside temperature drops enough to keep you cool. Restaurant was buffet and mediocre at best. I'd stay here again but with lowered expectations."

"This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."
