"Clean room and was ready a couple of hours before check in time. Staff sent a message to state this. Luggages were happily kept or hold by staff before checked in and after checked out. Staff notified client of incorrect charge of a food item that was meant to be removed from the bill. Staff actioned promptly either to wait for manager for the refund or to be directly deposited back to the account. Front reception staff are friendly. Front Luggage Porter was quick to handle our luggages for ease of checking in. Food delivery at the bar area was quick. Unsure what to comment on this when we were at the Bar area on Level 34- unsure if tables were meant to be reserved. We asked a male waiter on 18 Oct to clean a table by the window when he told me to wait in case that table was reserved for other people. The front desk lady said that just go in. I've been to Shangrila twice already and had eaten/drank at this Bar but never was I asked for any reservation nor someone has already reserve an empty table. There were a lot of empty tables but no sign of any reserved tables on sight. Anyways, he came back to clear the table."

"An exceptional stay from start to finish! The staff are wonderfully professional and went above and beyond to make our trip to Sydney enjoyable. The rooms feature stunning views, the location is extremely convenient, and the amenities…including the extensive breakfast buffet and gorgeous rooftop deck are top-notch. Off-site parking was also very manageable. Highly recommend!"

"The Victoria Hotel remains my fave place to stay in Melbourne. However, as an older establishment, if you want the aircon to be whisper quiet, the best option may be to turn it off overnight, depending upon your room allocation. I also experienced the constant quiet sound of flowing water, coming from somewhere outside my room on this occasion."

"Rooms, kitchen, coffee machine and fridge were in excellent condition & were extremely clean, neat and tidy. Massive amount of restaurants & bars surrounding the hotel as well as grocery stores. Staff were very fast, helpful & informative. Would definitely stay here again. 2 minute walk to the beach & tram which can access most of the Gold Coast & V8 Supercars racetrack."

"Location perfect, short walk from Central Station. New property very clean and modern art deco vibes all throughout with so much attention to detail. Beds very comfortable and loved the pillows. Bathroom was clean and water pressure and temperature just perfect. A great base to explore Sydney CBD"
