"Check in was fast and smooth and guy ws very friendly and when asked about the brekky told me it is cheaper to book with him than pay at the resto in the morning, we saved $15 for the 3 of us. However nice the beds are, the issue was that one of the glasses I used to drink was not washed well and I had a seafood allergy. I thought after taking a sip of water that I smelled something fishy. I asked my friend to smell the rim and true enough, she said it smelled like "mackerel". That night, I had a very bad reaction, couldn't sleep as I was so itchy and my friends said around 2:30 am, my face as all red with rashes! I was itchy all over and had a very bad time. I hardly slept, desptie taking antihistamines, it was a terrible feeling, I had to take another one to help me breathe well! My feet were so red, thighs and eyes so itchy too! My friend thought they needed to take me to a hospital, that was very scary indeed. I must have slept one hour, they said, I was so exhausted but I soldiered on as we had a cruise to do! I will probably stay there again but I will smell the glasses and mugs first. Buffet brekky was ok, but the blueberry danish was so tough for me, tasted old. I ws jsut back from Paris last May and the croissants and pasteries were not so nice at the buffet unfortunately. The juices were good and there a a great vrety to choose but I as still not feeling so well that morning, so was so careful of every item there."

"So much nicer than expected! The layout of the one bed apartment is excellent, isolating the bathroom from the sleeping area ensures a good night's rest. The full kitchen is amazing, real utensils, cutlery, full sized fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher along with the washing machine and dryer making this perfect as a home away from home. Staff were great even when dealing with rude and borderline hostile guests so massive props to them for this. We will stay here again, location is great for both business and leisure."

"Review based on our stay in room 1006. for our two night stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean for our two night stay. Parking was easy (though tight and very low clearance) and the hotel was accessibly directly from the car park. My only gripe was that our room was facing the building’s air conditioner unit which was quite noisy throughout the stay. If we were to stay in a different room, I’d probably stay again as the hotel is well located and directly opposite the Victoria Cross metro station. Worth noting that on the weekend, there are few options for eating out immediately around the hotel."
