Hampton Inn is our go-to family hotel, so we've stayed in a bunch, and several have been really nice. This one is the cleanest, friendliest, most-beautifully set we have stayed at. This is an elegant old hotel with lovely gardens and a great view of the bay. Restaurant was very nice with fantastic views and excellent food. Best crab cakes ever! The main part of the hotel is original with low ceilings and uneven floors, and has several nice sitting rooms, nooks and alcoves. Reminds me of some European hotels I have visited.

I took a solo trip and picked the perfect spot. This family owned inn is great for a family trip, a romantic getaway, or for a quiet escape by yourself. The owners are such a welcoming family and made me feel very like VIP. I will be going back and recommend Sandaway to anyone looking for that getaway in the Eastern Shore. The Lighthouse Hotel is very nice with large suites and a beautiful view of the bay. You can walk to the beach or to many great area restaurants and nightclubs. I loved the nightly turn down service. The staff lights candles, leaves breakfast for you & puts chocolates on the pillows.

Stayed for my wife’s birthday beginning of April, the weather wasn’t so great. But have only complaint and its about the bed, it would sink towards the middle. But other than that it was amazing. The view was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the edge the riviera suite.

I have been to many Hotels in Ocean City over the years. This one rates at the top for cleanliness and the staff was great. I will be returning when I can.

I enjoyed the cleaniless of the property, the quality of the food in the restaurant in the hotel, the meal deal coupons offered (even though I couldn't get them because I booked through a 3rd party).

The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is refreshing, and I love the benches overlooking the waters and jetty from which you can view a lot of nature. There is always complimentary coffee and tea and apples available as well as filtered water. The best for me is that the property is on the Cross Island Trail so I can enjoy a walk/run or bike ride (you can rent bikes) to Terrapin Nature Park on the other side of Kent Island. The hotel was clean. Workers were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had nice selection. This will be my first choice for hotels in the future.

The young women who checked us in & the women who checked us out were efficient and delightful. The rooms were excellent in every way especially the beds, pillows & sheets! Such an immaculately clean hotel everywhere.

Booked trip for Baltimore football game. Two weeks before the game, my original hotel canceled my booking and I was forced to find another one. May have been the best thing. This hotel was great all around. Upon arrival the front desk was polite and answered all our questions about walking directions to various places around. Recommended food choices as well.
