"Quiet stay on city side but reduced room size leads to bathroom door opening into bed. Happy hour drinks were a lovely surprise but breakfast was mediocre. Good outdoor areas for walking dogs. Friendly staff."

"Not much in the area, but a great place to stay if you are traveling Hwy 20 across Oregon. Heather was great! 2 stories with no elevator, wasn't a problem, but just in case you need to be on the 1st floor. Nice sized room with chairs and a table. Everything was clean and breakfast was good with eggs & meat. "

"This place was a hidden gem. We truly enjoyed our stay at the River Lodge. The view from our room was awesome!! The sunsets at night were breathtaking. And you could even see Mount Rainier off in the distance. It was a very peaceful getaway and we will be returning again! Well worth going to see yourself. It was memorial day weekend and there weren't any crowds at all. We loved it. Next time we want to come back and stay in one of the cabins. They were booked out so we stayed in the lodge. We were able to use the pool and hot tub and ride bikes on the trail outside the resort. We also went kayaking on the Columbia River (brought our own boats). Not a lot of options for restaurants so we ventured to Hermiston OR & truly enjoyed Delish Bistro! We will be back."

"There were a few things that could have been updated like the door handles to the rooms. My door had to have a kick to get it open. Otherwise for the age of the property everything was fine. "

"I booked the hotel at the last minutes a hour before from the car, but it was a very comfortable stay. The facility is clean and had recently updated. All the staff are kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place. "
