Just needed a cheap place to overnight on a road trip, Next to a truck stop but didn’t hear noise. Also a McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Waffle House, and Wendy’s all walkable. "I've stayed here a number of times over the years and found they have made noticable improvements recently, possibly with anticipation of the eclipse which I'm getting ready to watch right now. The beds are excellent, the towels and bedding are fresh and maintenance responded promptly when a minor adjustment was needed for the toilet seat. "Sort of typical small town motel. Clean, inexpensive. Electrical outlets for charging phone and laptop are challenging. "

No shampoo or conditioner available (I forgot mine), but it’s a big house, lots of room, loved the room with the extra air conditioner (I have achy joints and can’t sleep unless it’s cool), easy check in, but a huge delay between communications (4 hours) he let us check out a half hour later which was appreciated. Overall I could sleep and we had plenty of room and the price was right."
