"Wonderful family holidays:One family English/one German.Spacious well-kept house and beautiful spacious grounds:Had family tournaments: Basketball, pingpong, pool Billard.Wonderful sun bathing,small tennis court,had to lovely bbqs in the cozy Finnish grill hut.10 minutes by car to beautiful town Saint Omer plus bakery shop/butchers shop/pharmacy at 10 minutes on foot. Very nice hosts, always approachable and flexible:Wonderful spontaneous help in a small medical emergency. Thank you for lovely holidays Mr.Jude, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family!"

"We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows. We appreciated so many bathrooms. The kids loved the indoor jacuzzi. The kitchen is VERY well stocked. We will be back. "Very clean and well equipped property that had everything we needed for a family week away. We were even given a bottle of wine when we arrived. Ideally located to visit St Omar, Calais (where we saw the amazing dragon), lille and the coastal villages. The town itself had plenty of amenaties and two large supermarkets."

"For £200 a night we expected everything to work. For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. On a previous visit in a cheaper room we had an iron provided , a functioning coffee machine and milk and a larger table. This was a warm cosy room.The coffee machine this time did not work. Unfortunately everything in town on Mondays is closed and there is no restaurant in the hotel even though a restaurant is indicated in the hotel. To be kind bread and milk were provided on request. The toilet was electronically driven but needed three flushes sometimes to clear properly to avoid a smell of urine when it refilled. There is no hand basin in the toilet. This is only in the shower up some steps. There are no handles on the bathroom door so it can't be fully closed or locked. We would heartily recommend the cheaper room at £116 per night with everything functioning but the luxury room for £200 a night is for us was not good value for money. Staff were polite and friendly. I would recommend you improve your French if you intend to visit so you can communicate your requests better."

"This hotel was booked owing to its convenient location for our plans, including Cassel. It is close to the railway lines from Calais and Dunkerque and freight trains may disturb sleep if the window is open."
