"The room and bathroom were large and very clean. Staff were helpful and the evening meal in the restaurant had a good menu and was very tasty though a bit expensive. Only an overnight stay, but very enjoyable. We didn’t use the spa or gym. I expect we will use the hotel again."

"Welcoming to dogs and a really lovely experience all round. Breakfast was nice but limited places to sit with a dog when someone else has booked the whole room and it's the room you have to sit in. Otherwise just an all round nice stay. Food was tasty and welcoming to dogs. Thank you"

"Fantastic hotel! Easy walk from the train station, and to other things that you would need to get to like eating and the university. Lovely lobby, they had a workout room which I didn't use but that's a nice extra, and the room itself is very nice. I would definitely stay again"

"Staff is helpful. Breakfast was perfect. Easy access to Barnsley/Sheffield either by bus or train or car. Pub across the road, Lidl up the road.. enough things to survive!"
