"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. "

"A lovely property and great location for accessing everything in Wells by foot. Unfortunately, when we arrived the heating wasn’t working and we did not have heat for the full duration of our stay (3 days). The company that manages the house was very responsive and sent someone immediately. It seemed like a problem that had been brewing for a while. They did offer to find another rental for us but we instead opted for space heaters. It was manageable but not ideal when we were there to celebrate our mums 80th birthday. "

"The house is in an excellent location, near to the High Street, the Co-op supermarket and an easy walk to the waterfront. And parking on the street behind the house was easy. The first floor sitting room was light and meant that we had good views and the kitchen was very well equipped. The great bonus was the use of the beach hut, a first for us. The beach hut is well equipped and is on a quieter part of the beach with lovely sea views but still an easy walk."
