"It's a lovely clean and bright studio in the heart of Bayreuth, a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute from the colourful and lively Maximilianstraße. If you're prepared to self-cater (and the local supermarkets are excellent), then it's a bargain. What stops it from my giving 5 stars? Not much. The apartment can get very hot, although a fan is provided. A separate receptacle for recycling would be welcome, as would a dustpan and brush for daily cleaning and instructions for how to use the hob cooker. Hghly recommended."

"Very cool boutique hotel in a funky area of Bayreuth. Check-in is a little odd but the rooms are stylish and it is near some good coffee in the morning."

"This hotel is very pleasant with friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast. The shuttle bus to the Festspielhaus is great (though not so good when there weren’t enough seats on the way back) and the glass of Sekt beforehand is a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and the air-con good. The dinner menu stays the same all week; it might be good to ring the changes a little more for those staying a longer time."

"This is a beautiful place and located in a lovely area. Even without a car it was easy to get into Bamberg and to take bikes to the nearby adorable town. Our only complaint is that when we checked in the woman was not only not friendly, she was rude. At dinner when I asked about the wine, she almost yelled at me. I am well versed in what folks may say about people being cold or not friendly but this woman explained nothing when we arrived about the property or the pool, acted like we were bothering her, and then made me sorry that I asked about the taste of the wine. I should say that the rest of the staff was friendly and kind. It did mean however that we did not return for dinner. It’s really lovely but given how we were treated, I probably would go elsewhere. One doesn’t need to be treated poorly on vacation."

"The property is off the charts beautiful. We came on hottest week possible and a/c would have been nice. They did have a fan in the room. The food and Bfast was awesome. This place and the kronach area are awesome"
