The Edam Fishing Cottage is a beautifully renovated holiday home within walking distance of the idyllic town centre. You will find a large living area with an open kitchen, a living room with a dining table and comfortable bedrooms. The house is especially suitable for families. By bus or car, you can reach the centre of Amsterdam within half an hour, but there is also plenty to do in the Edam area. Hire a bike or a whisper boat around the corner and discover the beautiful surroundings. In Edam, you will find specialised shops and cosy terraces. Volendam, Marken, Hoorn and Alkmaar are also worth a visit. In the holiday home, you will find plenty of inspiration for trips and cycling routes. The freshwater IJsselmeer is within walking distance. Swim and play in the playground. There is also a children's pool for small children. The house is equipped with books, a chest full of toys, various musical instruments (recorder, ukulele, flute and mini accordion), board games and puzzles. The courtyard is sunny, spacious and equipped with comfortable chairs. Here you can end the day with a good glass of wine. Free parking is available in front of the door, and the spacious shower on the ground floor is easily accessible for the elderly. (E)-bikes can be stored and charged on the enclosed patio. Cars can be parked nearby -and usually in front of the door- free of charge. A crib, high chair, and stroller is available upon request and free of charge. Upon arrival, the beds are made. You are kindly requested to respect the quiet atmosphere outside after 23:00.

An optional utilities and service package of EUR 92,50 can be selected prior to your arrival. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link should you wish to include it.
This package ensures a seamless stay and conveniently covers services such as final cleaning, utility consumption, service support, and protection against minor damages or incidental costs during your stay.
Guests who prefer may manage these services independently, provided the property is returned in good order at check-out.
