"The Best Western was a great place to stay. The evening front desk lady was very friendly, informative, and helpful. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The room was very comfortable. The hot breakfast had a lot of variety. The hotel was a great location for the Balloon Fiesta — close proximity to the park and you could view the balloons in the morning right outside the hotel. Would definitely stay there again when back in Albuquerque."

"We were very pleased with the property and enjoyed our stay. However, we do not generally have extremely high expectations. The property is surely older and in need of some repairs and updates. But to us, all issues were minor and the facility checked all of our key boxes. There were no issues which negatively impacted our experience. The property and parking area were safe and secure. The room and bathroom were clean and all amenities worked as required. The beds were clean and very comfortable. There were no issues with "bugs" of any kind. The staff were absolutely friendly, helpful and responded to all requests without hesitation. The only noteworthy negatives to even mention would be the choices available at breakfast and the max temperature of hot water available in the shower. Both were OK and we managed just fine - but they could have been a bit better. Neither those points nor any other aspect of the property or the staff would prevent us from staying at this location in future. Sincerely."

"Well, it’s worn down in some areas, but you could see that they were working on making improvements . It’s located in between a lot of commercial businesses . The room was small for four adults and ice maker only on the first floor, but it was perfect location for the Albuquerque balloon fiesta. We were able to see the balloons right out the hotel front doors. The staff was super friendly including when they were super busy and helpful. Would totally stay there again."

"My room was both clean and comfortable. A nice sized fridge/freezer, big TV. The staff was always helpful, plenty of parking near my room and a beautiful view of the Sandia mountains to the east. The parking lot is completely fenced-in with electric gates for entry/exit and there is a security officer parked in the lot at night. Great location on the east side of town with a McDonalds next door. Nothing beats a cup of McDonalds coffee in the morning! This was my second stay here within the past two years."
