The beds were very comfortable and the room had all that we needed. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in the heart of Edinburgh within walking distance of most everything and bus transportation is just across the street. Wa erly Train station is within walking distance also.

Location, location, location! This hotel’s location seriously can’t be beat. On the corner of the colorful Victoria Street and walking distance to the castle. The grassmarket is a lively area to visit with its pubs and shops.The view of the castle at night is remarkable. If you’re looking for quiet, peaceful nights, though, this might not be the location for you.

Grass Market hotel is in a great location and with in walking distance to so many sights/shopping/restaurants. You will never run out of things to do! The staff was all super friendly and helpful. But pack light because if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you will be carrying all your luggage up several flights of stairs!

Great location to the city and walkable from the station. Old but clean property. It was a bit noisy at night, but slept well with earplugs. The breakfast was available only from 8:00. If it was earlier, it would be more convenient to me.
