Visually beautiful room and common areas. Delicious and decadent breakfast each morning. Climate control in the rooms was difficult to master without a modern thermostat. That combined with inconsiderate fellow guests made for a poor night’s sleep both nights. One thing that could be easily changed is their odd choice of an apple pie candle smell throughout the hotel. I found it putrid rather than high end.

Beautiful traditional feeling hotel with a warren of rooms through various doors which was cool. Stunning room and view. Next door to Dean village, and so easy to walk to anywhere I wanted to go. Very professional staff.

Beautiful boutique hotel, but …. King bed too hard for both me and partner - which was a shame because others the room was lovely. The dining room was closed for our visit which wasn’t advertised, and the hotel isn’t particularly close to other restaurants. We only found out when I tried to book a table, so a lack of communication.

Timeless elegance…

A beautiful, elegant, traditional Scottish townhouse hotel. A quiet oasis ideally situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, 5 minutes walk from the West End. Very helpful staff, lovely bar and restaurant and a great breakfast. You will want to return again and again. We certainly do.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful area

Absolutely beautiful room and experience! The staff are very kind and professional, and the room was a dream! We had gorgeous views out to Leith, a very comfortable bed, lovely sitting areas, and an exceptional bathroom full of amenities and luxury. The breakfast was delicious, both the hot options and the buffet. Would recommend completely! We had an easy walk into town, but the hotel felt quiet and away from the bustle.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The air freshener that was infused in the hotel triggered my allergies. The toilet ran constantly and the room #5 they gave us seem to be under a high traffic area and we heard foot steps all night. The decor was beautiful and very well done. My wife and I recently stayed at the Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The location is ideal, situated in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to Edinburgh’s main attractions. The best stay in the most gorgeous hotel! We couldn't have asked for any more, lovely room, spacious and plenty of facilities. We requested parking which was lovely and secure tucked around the back and a reasonable price considering how close it is to the city! If you stay I would recommend going to the bar, amazing rooms with stunning decor.
